2. Description of Service
FinSignals provides a machine-learning API that analyzes text from financial social media and returns sentiment, intent, and related classification signals. The Service is provided for informational and research purposes only.
3. Not Financial Advice – Important Disclaimer
THE SERVICE DOES NOT PROVIDE INVESTMENT, FINANCIAL, LEGAL, OR TAX ADVICE. All outputs produced by the FinSignals model, including sentiment scores, classification labels, confidence values, and any other signals, are generated by an automated machine-learning system and are provided solely for informational and research purposes.
Nothing in the Service constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, asset, financial instrument, or investment of any kind. You should not rely on any output from the Service to make financial decisions. You should always consult a qualified financial advisor, broker, or other licensed professional before making any investment or financial decision.
We expressly disclaim all liability for any financial losses, trading losses, missed opportunities, or other damages – direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive – arising out of or in connection with your use of or reliance on any output produced by the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Use the Service to engage in market manipulation, front-running, or any form of securities fraud
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute API access without written permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract model weights
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other access controls
- Use the Service to transmit malicious code or interfere with its infrastructure
5. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@finsignals.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
6. Fees and Payment
Certain features of the Service are available only with a paid subscription. All fees are stated in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable notice.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including the underlying model, software, and content, is owned by FinSignals and is protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ITS OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FINSIGNALS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL FINSIGNALS’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FinSignals and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
